Patrizia Heidegger is the Director for Global Policies and Sustainability at the European Environmental Bureau.
Patrizia graduated in Comparative Literature and Political Science and holds an LL.M in International Human Rights Law. She has been working as an advocate for global justice at the intersection of human rights, environment and development for more than 10 years. She leads the European Environmental Bureau’s work on sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She was previously Executive Director of the NGO Shipbreaking Platform, a global coalition of environmental, human and labour rights organisations.
